Ahoy Matie! Welcome to the
2008 Columbia County Fair & Rodeo "Pirates of the County". This
year's event is a treasure chest full of fun and excitement. We are
currently in the process of booking vendors for the 2008
Fair. We give 1st preference for location and category to our
vendors from last year and then open it up on a first come first
serve basis.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor we ask that you read
everything completely and make copies of the vendor agreement
part 1 & 2, the Camping Reservation and Cash Register
Specifications & Procedure forms for your records. We have also
included a Vendor Fact Sheet for you to keep for quick
reference.
If you are a food or special attraction vendor (only) you will
be required to ring all sales through a cash register and pay a 15% commission. See the included Cash Register
Specifications and Procedures sheet for details. All other
vendors are not required to pay a commission. Food vendors will
also be required to fill out the county’s Temporary Restaurant
License.
If you are a food or special attraction vendor or represent a
brand name product or service, please contact us first to see if
that category is available. Upon receiving your agreement &
vendor fees we will contact you immediately with a confirmation.

During the

Sunday, July 22nd. If you plan to begin setting up your booth
early, please understand that it is at your own risk and that it
is recommended that you bring in only your structure and/ or
larger items in advance. Fairground gates will be locked each
night. Both the Pavilion & Agricultural building booths can be
locked by the vendor. Vendors must supply their own lock.
Category Exclusivity:
The Fair board
reserves the right to limit the number of vendors in any given
category. The fair will limit the number of vendors in certain
food categories and for specific brand name products. |
