The Fair & Rodeo is the largest event in the county and an opportunity for exposure you won’t want to miss. Event marketing is unique. It allows a business to go to their customers – to visit them, share the benefits of a product or service; it gives a face to the business. Event marketing through sponsorship allows a business to expand their message, show the personality of the business, and give back to the community. It is one of the most intimate forms of advertising- it says “I am willing to make the effort to come to you”.

Because the Fair & Rodeo is made up of a bunch of events jam packed into 5 days, we offer something for everyone. Included with the price of fair admission is access to the Stock Car Races, NPRA Rodeo, ATV Rodeo, and lot of great live stage performances.

Check out our variety of sponsorship packages for our annual Fair & Rodeo events. We also have several opportunities with some new activities we are exploring so we will continue to add information as it becomes available. As the Fair & Rodeo adapts to meet the needs of the public we are open to creative sponsorships and promotions with our local partners. If you would like to create a customized sponsorship package that better fits with your marketing or community involvement needs, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are also interested in in-kind sponsorships. If you have products or services that you can donate in trade for sponsorship let us know.

Sponsorship opportunities are available on a first come first serve basis. Keep your eyes open for some unique marketing with this year’s fair & rodeo. There are some fun ways that sponsors can get involved and benefit with additional exposure for their business.

Dancin' in the Dirt

A CONCERT IN THE RODEO ARENA FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHT

Time to dance cowboy/ girl style…. Out in the dirt. Bring your partner on down into the rodeo arena and dance to the tunes of the Concrete Cowboys. This is a party you won’t want to miss. Immediately following the rodeo both Friday and Saturday night we will open the gates and invite everyone down into the arena to dance the night away.

The ultimate family event is on Thursday of fair week. Kids get the opportunity to see what it is like to be a real Cowboy/Cowgirl at the Jr. Rodeo. From Mutton Bustin’ to barrel racing and Steer Riding we have events for kids ages 6 to 18. It’s fun for the kids and a knee slappin’ good time for parents & grandparents. The “Just for Fun” Rodeo gets the little ones out into the Rodeo Arena to participate in some rodeo events designed just for them.

Each year our main entertainment stage is home to talent from all over the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is always to offer fair – goers a wide range of entertainment and musical styles each day to keep them coming back for more. This area of the fairgrounds always draws a huge crowd and is a great way to get exposure for your business.

What can I say?.... The winner of the Columbia County Talent Contest moves on to compete against the winners at all the other county fairs at the Oregon State Fair Talent Contest. The talent contest is judged by local experts in the field of entertainment and draws the county’s most talented individuals of all ages.

This year we decided to expand on our Senior Day to include activities and information directed to our distinguished senior community. Activities such as a Red Hat Society Tea Party, vendors with businesses and services of interest to seniors along with fun and interesting entertainment on the main stage. Seniors will be admitted all day on Wednesday at no charge.

Traditionally Thursday has had more activities directed at the youth, with the Junior and “Just 4 Fun” Rodeo, Baby Gala, and entertainment by and for kids. This year we decided to expand on our Kids’ Day to add some additional kids’ events with the help of a kids’ Day sponsor.

This is the 5th year of the annual Columbia County Chili Cook-Off. Contestants will come from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada to participate in a judged contest. Fairgoers have the chance to sample all of the chili recipes and vote for their favorite in the people’s choice awards. Prizes are provided for the winners in both categories.

YEE….HAW… oh what fun we had. This will be our second year and we are working out the kinks, getting more people involved and steppin’ it up a notch. This is a great marketing opportunity…. Give us a call today.
